Owner / Therapist

Hi, I’m Mary Alysse Mark, LPC, PMH-C. I know that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable. If you're here, there's a good chance you've been carrying a heavy load for a long time - juggling responsibilities, caring for others, navigating change, and trying to keep up with the demands of daily life.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Perinatal Mental Health provider, I specialize in supporting women through anxiety, life transitions, fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, motherhood, perimenopause, and relationship concerns. For more than 10 years, I've had the privilege of helping women make sense of difficult seasons, reconnect with themselves, and create meaningful change in their lives.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply ready for more support, I'm glad you're here.

A bit more about me:

Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, and showing up requires vulnerability. I believe it is a privilege to be trusted with someone's story. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and supported throughout the therapeutic process. My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered.

I'm also a mom, and while every person's experience is unique, motherhood has given me a deeper appreciation for the joys, challenges, and identity shifts that many women navigate.

While exploring past experiences can help us understand patterns and gain deeper insight, I also believe therapy should offer practical tools and strategies you can use in your daily life. Together, we'll work toward building skills to manage emotions, respond to stress with greater confidence, and create meaningful, sustainable changes.

One of the things I value most in therapy is helping women recognize that their struggles don't exist in a vacuum. The pressures of caregiving, relationships, work, family responsibilities, and societal expectations can all shape how we experience stress, anxiety, and self-doubt. Together, we'll explore both your individual experiences and the broader context that may be influencing them.

Let’s connect.

The best next step is to schedule a free 15 minute consultation call. This provides an opportunity for you to share a little about you and what is going on, for me to share how I might be able to help and to review any logistical questions (i.e. insurance, scheduling, etc.)
